  • Jerseys should be purchased at the time your player is registered, this ensures the highest probability that your child will have their jersey at game time. Buy your uniforms HERE. Use the code VERM23.

  • Ball sizes vary with age group. U7 players use a size 3 ball. For games U8 players will use either a size 3 or 4 ball, this is chosen by the home team. U9-U12 use size 4 balls. U13 and above use a full sized size 5 ball.

  • Your coach will contact you a couple of weeks before games start to begin practices. practices are typically twice a week on a week day in the evening 5PM or later. it is up to the coaches to work out what time works best for them and the players team.

  • Soccer is an all weather sport, so cancellations do not regularly happen. In the event of a cancellation your coach will communicate it to the team. Game cancellation information will also be posted on the Vermilion Soccer club Facebook page and on the League website.

  • OHTSL is the only league that we offer Girls/Boys only teams. All other leagues are Coed.

  • Parents, grandparents, former players, community members- anyone who wants to make a difference! NO experience required!

  • Choosing the right registration is simple. Little kickers is perfect for our youngest players (3-6), who are just being introduced to the game in a fun, beginner friendly environment. Lorain County Soccer League (LCSL) is our recreational program for U7 up to U15, focused on development, teamwork, and local competition. For players looking for a higher level of commitment and competition, Ohio Travel Soccer League (OHTSL) offers travel play, structured training, and a more advanced experience. OHTSL players must be selected through tryouts or coach evaluation before registering. Club soccer is designed for highly committed players seeking the most competitive environment available. These programs are run independently from Vermilion Soccer Club and typically involve licensed coaches, year-round training, higher level tournaments and a significant time and financial commitment. Families interested in Club soccer should explore local club organizations and attend their scheduled tryouts to determine the best fit for their player.

  • For Lorain County Soccer League, games are primarily in Lorain County, ranging from Edison schools in Milan to Midview in Grafton.

    OHTSL travel varies by division. In lower divisions travel distances are comparable to those in LCSL . As your team becomes more competitive the distances will increase.

  • Little Kickers and LCSL games are primarily on Saturdays. OHTSL games are primarily on Sundays. Sometimes games have to be scheduled on weekdays due to scheduling conflicts.
